84th Family Reunion Invitation

You are especially invited to our
84th Burridge Reunion!!!
Who: All descendents of George and Hannah BurridgeWhen: July 8th, 9th, and 10th
Where: Deseret Peaks Complex at 2930 West Highway 112, Tooele, UT
Why: To “get together and catch-up”, to enjoy traditions, and to decide the future of this reunion.
Friday night (July 8th): Dinner will be our traditional bring your own hot dogs and burgers with the trimmings in the campground adjacent to the convention center. LeGrande will be serving up his famous Dutch oven potatoes.
Saturday (July 9th): Breakfast will be served at 9:00 SHARP! Those wishing to rise later may take advantage of the variety of choices in Tooele.
Enjoy swimming in the 750,000 gallon pool with two wading pool/beach areas as well as water toys, a waterslide, not to mention the diving pool and lap pool. Our Saturday “get together and catch-up” will take place in the new convention center. Lunch will be pot luck with each family providing their own main dish. We will have our traditional auction and watermelon bust.
Sunday (July 10th): On your own
Please invite all of your family members to join us for this important reunion! *Camping is $5 for tents, $15 for full hook ups and $10 for electrical only. There are only 6 full hookup spots available so get your reservation in quickly. Electrical hookups are plentiful and you should have no trouble getting in. We do, however, encourage you to reserve ASAP.

We would like to encourage you to extend your weekend a bit to take in some of the local opportunities as well as the fun sights and playgrounds that are a short drive away. Tooele has a wonderful tour of a pioneer settlement and Old Grist Mill that Grandpa Burridge helped to establish as well as the trip to Rush Valley to see the family plot and homestead where Grandpa and Grandma first raised their family and ran the local ZCMI and post office.




ANCESTORAL GRAVES
We will be meeting in Rush Valley on May 21st to decorate the graves of our ancestors. We will meet at the St. John Cemetery at 10:00. We will decorate the graves and then meet for lunch in Tooele. Bring flowers, shovels, hoes, and rakes to help clean the graves. From north of Salt Lake, you merge onto I-215 via EXIT 313 toward S.L. Airport. Then merge onto I-80 W via EXIT 22A toward Reno. Merge onto UT-36 via EXIT 99 toward Stansbury/Tooele. Turn Right onto Meadow Lane. Turn left onto Mormon Trail Rd. Turn right on Charles Hill Road. Then turn left on to North Church. It will take you to the cemetery
