85th Burridge Family Reunion

You are especially invited to our 85th Burridge Reunion!!! Who: All descendants of George and Hannah Burridge. When: July 6th and 7th, 2012 Where: Deseret Peaks Complex at 2930 West Highway 112, Tooele, UT Why: To “get together and catch-up”, and to enjoy our family traditions. Friday (July 6th): We will meet at 3:00 at the Tooele Library to see the monument to early pioneers with our ancestors’ names. We will then have a convoy tour to learn more about our ancestors and to see where they raised their family and ran the local ZCMI and post office. Dinner will be our traditional “bring your own hot dogs or burgers with the trimmings” in the campground adjacent to the convention center. Saturday (July 7th): Breakfast will be served at 9:00 – 10:00 in the campground. We will then have our Business Meeting, Auction and visiting inside the Convention Center. After the auction, please enjoy swimming provided by the Burridge Family Organization in the 750,000 gallon pool with two wading pool/beach areas as well as water toys, a waterslide, not to mention the diving pool and lap pool. Lunch will be at 2:00. It will be pot luck with each family providing their own main dish and something to share. Please invite all of your family members to join us for this wonderful reunion! *Camping is $5 for tents, $15 for full hook ups and $10 for electrical only. There are only 6 full hookup spots available so get your reservation in quickly. Electrical hookups are plentiful and you should have no trouble getting in. We do, however, encourage you to reserve ASAP. We will meet at the St. John Cemetery at 10:00. We will decorate the graves and then meet for lunch in Tooele. Bring flowers, shovels, hoes, and rakes to help clean the graves. From north of Salt Lake, you merge onto I-215 via EXIT 313 toward S.L. Airport. Then merge onto I-80 W via EXIT 22A toward Reno. Merge onto UT-36 via EXIT 99 toward Stansbury/Tooele. Turn Right onto Meadow Lane. Turn left onto Mormon Trail Rd. Turn right on Charles Hill Road. Then turn left on to North Church. It will take you to the cemetery.

Burridge Reunion and Planning Meeting

The 2012 Burridge Reunion will be held on July 6th and 7th at Deseret Peaks. We enjoyed our time there last year with the accomodations and the wonderful swimming facility that is there.
The planning meeting for that reunion will be April 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Restaurant in Brigham City, Utah.
We hope to see you at both the planning meeting and the reunion.
